Galleries of Justice (children in need)19th november 2004

Carls story
Having done the galleries of justice a few weeks previously, we were informed of a charity event for children in need.
The event was a lock up in a haunted cell by myself, great!! i arrived on the night at 10pm, after the initial brief and introductions Debs and myself started on baseline test, where we got the feeling of the building again. We went down the stairs to go to the cells area where we both became aware of amonia and feaces, i then felt the presence of an energy in the doorway, (where the jailer would have occupied who welcomed the prisoners)i then switched on the camcorder and started to record.
Whilst recording the focus on the camera was continually zooming in out randomly, orbs were rapidly coming towards us at this point, after asking to show us more lights they were very willing to do so.
After five minutes Debs started to feel unwell at this point her right shoulder was pushed back as if she had been pushed, she was ok thank god, we then went back upstairs to the base room to have a word with the medium conducting the investigation she immediatley informed us that we was being followed by three male spirits. We had a thirty minute break during this time the bad odour kept coming and going periodically we contacted Tray on the phone to ask her to join us, this she did straight away. At midnight all the groups participated in the seance which was being held in the court room. As we entered the court room the atmosphere was highly charged, we then started the seance and i could feel a cold breeze drifting in and out over our hands. I was sat in the middle of Debs and tracey who kept smelling soap and purfume i then realized there was something wrong with Debs she started to act out of charachter, the medium also noticed this and asked what was wrong. Debs said they are telling me to tell you to GET OUT BITCH! after another five minutes she started to act strange again this time Debs started to laugh quite loudly the medium asked what was happening, Debs then replied there was four male spirits making rude gesture's at you, this again is out of charachter for Debs. At the end of the seance Debs picked up a little boy called Jake i asked her where this boy was she replied behind me i asked her what he looked like, she said he had blonde hair and he,s crying approx 6 years old. After the seance we had a thirty minute break where the odour's kept coming and going. At 1am i made my way down to the cell to do the lone vigil.

THE VIGIL
Debs and Tray escorted me down (probably for my own protection) to the cell. As soon as i entered i sat down and started recording saying my goodbye's to Debs and Tray at that point three orbs also left the cell following them out, so here i was all alone in this condemned pitch black cell with nothing but a cam corder and a walkie talkie i noticed the temperature inside the cell was strange as i felt very warm on my right side especially on my right foot and very cold on my left. I started to make contact, orbs were continually coming in and out of the cell doorway. At 1.30am it really started to kick off, i heard footsteps coming into the cell area coming in from the court yard then a loud deep sigh, hung on the wall in the cell area there is a rack of chains various sizes and weights it sounded like someone had run there hands across them from one side to the other then i heard the sigh again louder than previously,also the sound of a woman giggling,i then called out who's there to which there was no reply i got in touch with the base room by walkie talkie to ask if anyone else was in the area there reply was there was a group in the chapel, the chapel being inside the main building away from the cell area and everone was accounted for. At 2am i left the cell to make my way back to the base room at this point i felt i was being followed.

The Galleries Of Justice, Nottingham

I met up with Debs and Tray outside in the courtyard, where we exchanged our experiences so far. We then decided to go back into the condemned cell to do another vigil as a group. We entered the cell, we were in their less than 5 mins, then it kicked off again. Debbie was sat in the middle of Tray and myself, Debbie informed me of her feeling unwell, as soon as she said this she slumped backwards towards the wall, i just managed to quickly catch her as she was going back. I then got to my feet and started to bring Debbie round, also shouting whoever was inside her to get out, Tray was also shouting for it to leave her alone. All through this Tray had the camcorder recording, the EMF meter was going off scale. looking back over the footage we saw 3 orbs leave Debbies back and exit through the door, as we brought Debbie back round. Throughout this ordeal Debbie picked up on a negative male spirit, he was about 6ft, he wore brown raggy ripped clothes,the knees were showing, all bloodied and bruised with a bald head with oily smudge marks. I asked Debbie if she could see the spirit, she said yes he's stood in front of you glaring with his fist clenched. I tested the EMF on Debbie, no reading, on Tray no reading, on me off scale. I then started to get even more angry and started swearing and shouting even more, until there was no more EMF reading on us all, i then said to Debbie and Tray, he's gone, lets go. We left the cell and went back up to the base room. We finished the event at approx 4am, it was an excellent night.

PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL HOUSE,BIRMINGHAM FRIDAY THE 13TH OF MAY..2005

We found the house somewhere in Birmingham, we were excited as it was friday the 13th unlucky for some.We entered the house and were made very welcome.As soon as we went in we felt as if we were being watched by children.We went upstairs into one of the bedrooms as this was were the activity was supposed to be most active after a few minutes we linked hands and asked for a sign if anyone was with us.Debs and myself could tell there was,we asked for a noise as soon as we did we heard a scuffing sound we said thankyou and if possible give us another, on this there was prominent dragging sound followed by a bang. At this we went down stairs to get the equipment and try to get it on tape. We used our night vision cameras throughout the investigation, we got quite a few orbs and light anomalies, we placed the dictaphone up in the attic which recorded some mysterious wining and tapping. Our medium was overcome by the emotions of a lady who was very sad, this happened on the third time she was drawn into the room.Carl and Tray brought her back out from this and on this an orb came out of her body,throughout this incident she was very tearful.Nothing in this house was bad.We held a seance down stairs and heard bangs from the under the table and captured orbs around the table.Janice also felt ill throughout the night.To sum the night up i would say that this house has alot of paranormal activity, and why were there so many children there and three ladies?.We will never know.

Strelley Church.

We arrived at our location Strelley church at approx 12 midnight. There are 2 areas where we carried out our investigation as the graveyard is divided by a winding road. For this we'll call them area 1 and area 2. The weather was a cold night and clear skies.

Area 1 (small graveyard)
The graveyard itself was fairly open and sparce, however as soon as we entered the grounds we felt as if we wer'e being watched. Debbie and Tray seemed to pick up on a spirit on the edge of the graveyard next to the road watching us. In the middle of the graveyard there's a monument, we sat there and tried to make contact, however after about an hour nothing happened just the feeling of being watched so we made our way to Area 2.

Area 2 (Strelley Church / graveyard)
All of us seemed to come up with a change of feeling as we entered the area. Debbie picked up of the spirit of an old lady straight away whom she said had attended church every week without fail. Debbie soon started to take on the feelings of the old woman, the old womans name was Ethel but preferred to be called "Ettie". she said that she was waiting for her husband. Tray then had a walk around the grounds and took photos of the cemetary where she photographed a number of orbs, whilst Debbie and Carl stood in the entrance to the church, Debbie saw an orange light coming from underneath the door going from left to right then disappeared. We now felt that we were surrounded at the church entrance, Tracy started to take photographs of the entrance of the church where both Debbie and Carl were standing, on looking back on the photograph we picked up a strange mist which formed in front of Debbie and Carl, when we closely examined the photographs there appears to be prominent figure of a man behind the gate whom Debbie was talking to, and a face in the mist. We ended the investigation at 2.30am

Colwick Old Church Ruins, Nottingham

We arrived at the ruins at 11.30pm, the weather conditions was clear skies, but freezing cold. As soon as we entered the sight, Debbie picked up on an energy of a man at the side of the church.Asking her about this man she said that he's dressed in black and he's watching us. We stopped in the grounds where she then said that he's gone into the church.
We made our way up to the church, had a look in through the gates. Looking in we believe that the disused church is now being used as a meeting place for the local kids. We walked around to the side of the church, debbie and Andy felt as though they were being watched. We stopped on the edge of the small graveyard for about 10mins to see if we could pick up on anything more. We made our way forward to the graveyard. The graveyard is only small, around the edge we could make out the headstones placed next to one another. Debbie and Carl saw a shadow moving from right to left in front of 2 headstones then disappearing. Carl went forward to have a closer look, when Debbie informed him to be careful as she sensed a dog with teeth showing, as if it was on guard. Tray took quite a few pictures on the camera and Andy recorded on camcorder. We entered the ruins and headed for the tower, which is gated off, we headed here as all of us seemed to be drawn into this area. Whilst Carl was looking at the entrance to the tower more closely, Debbie said keep away in a raised voice. She then said that she had no reason to say this, she said that she was being made to say it,

THE GOLDEN FLEECE, YORK

We were asked by Haunted investigations to assist in the investigation with york TV. We arrived at the Golden Fleece at 6.30pm, straight away Debbie picked up on a male spirit who was watching us as we walked from the car park. The male spirit made himself known to Debbie that he didn't want us there. Whilst Debbie was in the ladies a spirit of a woman made herself known to her, that she was telling her that he didn;t want us there and we had to leave. We met up with Andrew Alden from Haunted investigations who led us up to the base room for us to meet the public. When the public left for their ghost walk in York we went around the Golden Fleece for our walk through with Andrew and a tv crew from York tv. On the walkround Debbie picked up on events associated with the fleece and how people lost their lives there.
When the public returned they joined us again in the base room for a mediumship demonstration with Graham Lee and a question and answer session with the team and Graham. We then joined up with a small group of people whom were all enthusiastic,we took them around the fleece and carried out vigils and seances in the guest rooms. Although we captured footage on video of orbs and temperature drops in the rooms it didn't feel very active that night even with prompting from tray, however saying that a second visit might be different.

PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL HOUSE MANSFIELD

These pictures was taken at a private house in mansfield,they contacted us asking for our help,they said they had strange smells and things moving and going missing in the house and all so have been woken in the night to the bed shaking and had scratches on her foot,she did not have the scratchers before going to bed,they both have seen big black shadows around the house,so we arranged a visit to see them,on our arrival we didnt feel anything bad untill it got later in the night,so we started to take photos and got the video cameras out,we were suprised on how many orbs passed through the property, as the night went on the man turned up who had been causing all the trouble,he did not like the changes that had gone off,and didnt want them living there,deb said he wasnt very nice and he was very strong,he did not believe he was dead,as far as he was concerned that was his property and didnt want anyone in it,so we talked to him explained to him he was dead and helped him move on to find love and peace and the loved ones hes lost,we helped a few more spirits whilst we were there and some wanted to stay,the residents of the house was happy for the good spirits to stay so we asked the good spirits to help protect them from any bad energies and enterties,we do have noises and bangs on video and we all so have a cat meowing on the video,it turns out that she has a black ghost cat that comes in and goes in there kitchen,we beleive that the black cat is there for the young lady of the house as she is the one who sees it, this cat is there to help guid her and to learn,this cat is her animal totem,since visiting the house they have not had anymore problems and are very happy.

Having heard of all the paranormal activity associated with Annesley Hall, we decided to investigate. On the way there Debbie picked up on activity there and said "The're waiting for us!" We arrived at the hall at 2330hrs on 29/07/05. As soon as we got out of the car, Andy told us that ther'e telling us to go away ( the words he used were more offensive to put in the report!) We made our way from the slip road to an opening in the graveyard wall where we decided to venture in. At this point both Debbie and Andy felt really uneasy, we stopped halfway on the pathway in the graveyard, where Debbie spotted a tall figure dressed in Black, with hood up standing infront of us, Andy spotted the same figure stood next to him at the wall. Andy started to feel strange at this point, it was if he was drunk as slurring his speech and losing his balance. Debbie picked up on a group of spirits whom were not nice coming towards us and trying to surround us. At this point we decided to go back to the wall and gather our thoughts, ready to go further in to the graveyard. we left Andy with Ian and the rest of us carried on towards the church.
We stopped beside the church walls where Tracey felt something brush against her hand, and Carl felt something hit his left leg. At the same time we all heard what sounded like a child crying. Debbie picked up on a female spirit who was not nice, dressed in grey with white hair, she said to us "so you think your going to stay here long do you" Carl asked her what else she was picking up, Debbie replied she doesn't want us here and she's just staring at us. We got video footage and photos of the area and decided to make our way to the stable area.
At the stable area near the clock tower, Debbie and Tray looked up on the roof and spotted a dark oblong shape about a metre long come from the roof and heading towards the trees however it vanished in mid air before it reached the trees.
We entered the room next to the clock tower, it seemed very calm, saying that what happened next it led us into a false sense of security, Carl felt a tightening around his left arm and neck and went over to Debbie and asked her what she was feeling, she said that the atmosphere has changed and it seemed calm, then she fell towards the floor, shouting "get it off my back" Carl picked her up, and dragged her out of the building where she came to, she said that she couldn't remember us talking to her or being dragged out. We decided to return to the cars as we believe the spirits there was trying to take us out one by one. We left the area at 0245hrs.

We received an email from a couple residing in the Bolsover area to come to investigate the grounds of the Castle as there has been various activities happening along the pathway leading up to the Castle. On one occasion they mentioned about a cyclist riding along the path and being physically pushed off.
On our arrival we met Rob and Vicky whom told us what was happening there. We weren't picking anything on our way up the hil to the castle however when we reached the side walls Debbie ,Andy and Carl stopped at a clearing where Debbie picked up on an incident not connected to the castle. She informed us that it involved an attack on a girl. We all felt as if we wer'e being watched by a male spirit. As we started to walk off, the feeling we all had was that we wer'e being followed by this male spirit. We decided to walk around the village of bolsover then made our way back down the hill to finish our investigation. When Debbie walked past the same pathway as before she picked up on this male spirit, same as mentioned earlier, this time he followed us on to the street. We all stopped, Tracy took photos, orbs wer'e captured on film. We ended the investigation.

We carried out a daytime walkround of the Derby Gaol to get a feel of the area before we carried out our investigation with members of the public. As we entered the Gaol Debbie was a bit nervous to enter as she was starting to take on feelings and the sadness of the inmates whom were locked up there. We entered the condemned cell where Debbie felt that in here it was an entry/exit point for the spirits to come and go. After the walkround we sat in the dayroom where both Debbie and Carl picked up on a couple of spirits. Debbie picked up on a male who was next to her kneeling, crying holding his hands out to her as if he needed help.A noise on the table loud enough for both Debbie and Carl to hear and a smell of lavender drifting then going. As Debbie and Carl got up from their chairs they saw a floating grey hazy type ball moving towards the corridor which was used to take the prisoners to be executed. They went into the corrider, nothing hapened while in there but on the way out Carl was tugged by something as he was looking at the portrait. He said to Debbie "did you just grab me" Debbie said "no" (Debbie was standing in the reception area of the gaol at the time)they went into the day area again where Debbie picked up on a male spirit by the name of Jack Francis. On speaking to the staff there is a Jack Francis who comes there but not connected to the Gaol.

THE BELL INN NOTTINGHAM 29th october 2005...

we all arrived at THE BELL INN in high spirts as we were really looking forward to our halloween investigation.There was sixteen of us.We split into four groups and got kitted up after we did a walk around and baseline tests we heard a couple of noises but nothing to what we witnessed later!After a few hours of viduals and getting a few orbs and hearing the odd noise we went on the ouija board and were in contact with a old man who had been there for over 400 yrs, he wanted to go to the light but was scared,after talking to him for quite a while he went back to his wife who was waiting for him,it was a very moving experience to be honest.The five of us from NPI who were present that night went down into the cellar Carl first then Tray,Debs and then myself Andy,a couple of minutes later Shane arrived.We were all at the door just going in ,to our left there was another door we did not know where this door led to,in front there was a crate and three boxes on top.We all heard three knocks on the door and a srcapping sound but it was that loud and strong we all thought it was some one messing around till the door stopped shaking and the boxes and crates started to to shake by there selfs,then the door handle started to move up and down like the door was being opened,but it was locked,Tray being her mad self went to the door and tried to hold it shut as it looked like it was going to bust open,the force of it was shoving tray,we were shouting "HELLO WHOS THERE" but there was no answer,we turned the lights on and tried to find out where the other side of the door was after fetching the owner,she told us THAT DOOR IS ONLY A STORE CUPBOARD AND I DONT HAVE A KEY!!we stayed there and tried to get it to happen again but it didnt,we went further into the cellar debs sensed somone looking over my shoulder and i felt very uneasy just before she said this.We sat on the steps to the ladies toilets and caught some good orb footage after Trays goading which made carl uneasy after debs had said ive just had a vision of two arms and a head coming round the corner and pulling your legs away from you carl.The night was enjoyed by everyone and it opened a few eyes..

We were asked by haunted investigations if we would help out with a charity ghost investigation at ordsall hall with guest Phil Whyman.

The first time i entered the hall,I saw a little girl at the top of the stairs,i ventured up there alone to have a better look,When i got to the top she was standing in the far left corner of the room,to my right i heard a male voice say come here,and i heard foot steps,No i didnt go,
When we started the investigation we went into the big hall and immediatly felt a death,As i walked towards the steps that lead up to a balcony,I saw a young woman around her early 20s,There was a sense of deep depression/hoplessnes/and heart ache with her,I feel she sat and cried and thought for a while before she took her life,I saw her climb over the balcony and allowed her self to fall back to her death.I feel this was because she had lost her one true love and could no longer live without him,As i went down the stairs and stood where i felt she had fell,I felt very sick and disorientated and a very strange dull feeling at the back of my kneck head and chest,like i had badly banged my head and was losing conciousness,This indicates to me or i feel,when she hit the ground on her back her chest was crushed on impact her neck was broken,and her skull felt smashed,I believe she took her last breath on the floor in that spot,Lost conciousness and passed over.
I also picked up on a male energy who i felt was quite grumpy,I feel he follows people and doesnt like anyone being there,I believe he stands behind visitors and they would feel it,I feel he is grounded at the hall and is responsible for some disturbences,He started to respond to our please,we had some audial and visual phenomena,Lights on the walls responding to us on demand,He wants to feel important,He wants to feel hes the man of the house and i feel he loves the attention when you big him up we had some excellent results with glass divination and transfiguration,Tray took some good pictures and got some good video footage,And and picked up on a bird and a little black scruffy dog,he says it follwed him all night and kept sitting on his foot,haha,All in all ordsall hall is a very interesting place,and is definatly worth another visit.

THE SALUTATION INN
NOTTINGHAM

During our time at the salutation inn,I picked up on 2 male energies,1 not so nice,The other a bit mischievious,A name of john,also rosie a child who liked to be called angel,She liked my necklace and enjoyed playing with it,i felt that she felt quite uneasy at times due to the not so nice male and liked hiding in darker places you would not expect,i feel she found it funny to make you jump,
Also i sensed a female present,Someone who was quite emotional,And cunning at the same time,but,I felt she lived a very sorroful life.
We ventured into the cellers where i felt an older male very playful,Liked to pinch my bottom,He has a thing for females,We went further in near the underground where there i felt and tasted death,A murder,Nothing much happened through out the night,regarding sightings,strange noises were heard,Tracey andy shane and the owner went upstairs to the ladys toilets,he says no one likes to use them,so i called out and asked if anyone was in here with us and after abit we had nocking sounds like someone was answering me,at this time the owner had to leave as he got a headache,so we decided to lock a camera off in there,when we checked the video you can hear the door opening and the toilet flushing this happened twice on the video,there is 2 toilets and the video shows no one using them?,We had some good accurite and very personal messages given out using the ouija board,The Salutation is a very interesting place,Needs investigating further.

The Manor House

We arrived in West Bromwich on 28th January 2006 to conduct our investigation at the reputedly haunted manor house. As soon as we arrived Debs sensed the energy of a male domineering spirit whom we came across on a joint investigation last year with our good friend Karl Windridge and members of uk paranormal study. She informed us that he knows we are here and he is not happy, as soon as she said this whilst switching the main lights off a light bulb smashed. This was the begining of an exciting evening. As soon as the public had left, whilst preparing the equipment we heard heavy footsteps in the top restaurant above us. This had to be paranormal as we were the only ones in the building all in the same room and all of us heard the footsteps. Carl grabbed hold of the camcorder and went to investigate the top restaurant.On climbing the stairs the light on the camcorder turned itself off and on and started to respond to our questions by effecting the light in this way. Carl got to the restaurant and confirmed that the top floor was empty. Scratching noises was heard at the top of the stairs however as Carl approached the stairs it fell silent.
We then gathered into the main area for a quick coffee and a plan for our investigation. We was there for approximately 5 minutes where Debs sensed the male spirit again, this time he was close behind her. Debs started to feel weak, had difficulty in breathing and was hyperventilating, on seeing this we quickly moved her out of the area and brought her back into a calm state.
We went back to the main area and carried on with the investigation, keeping an eye on each other. Debs started to pick up on a little girls spirit of approx 7years of age. Whilst we were communicating with the little girl, Debs started to sing a child song. On asking why she was singing the song she said the song as been put in my head by the girl. We captured orbs and knocking and tapping noises throughout the night.
The investigation ended at 0400. This location needs to be investigated further as we are going back to the manor house on 4th feb 2006 and investigating with the public on the 25 feb 2006
